International Centre for Eye Health (ICEH)


The ICEH is based at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), and carries out research and education to improve eye health and eliminate avoidable blindness, with a focus on low income populations.

Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO)

MEACO is one of the four supranational organizations recognized by the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), representing the national and sub-regional ophthalmological societies in Africa and the Middle East including Turkey and Iran. It has established the following subspecialty societies:
