Cyber-Sight is proud to offer "Binocular Vision and Ocular Motility" 6th ed. by Gunter K. vonNoorden and Emilio C. Campos on our web site. In a novel approach to making the book more useful to the web site visitor, the book is offered in two formats:
The first offering is in a PDF file that allows the material to be read with an appearance identical to the printed page of the book itself. In addition, this PDF format allows the reader to download (print) the pages exactly as they appear in the printed version. Since this version must be accessed through an Adobe program, the reader must download this program on the computer. This download, necessary to capture the book, can be obtain free by clicking on www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
The second version of the book presents material that is truly on line and can be read continuously, scrolling through the entire book without "reloading", and without the need to download a special program. This version has been re-formatted. It does not look exactly like the print copy of the book, but can be read comfortably. The "on line" version of the book cannot be downloaded to produce an accurate version.
Why two versions? This seminal text dealing with strabismus and binocular vision is one that will be read by many and will undoubtedly endure for many years. We have therefore made every effort to present it in a way that can benefit our readers most.
Our sincere thanks to Drs. von Noorden and Campos for their generosity in sharing the work of a lifetime.
