A brand new feature of the E-Consultation program is that partners can now reopen a closed case and can also send additional pictures with their responses.  This will be very useful to partners who wish to close a case after the initial consult, but want to reopen the case to send an additional response at a later date such as postoperatively.  This feature also allows the partner doctor to attach additional pictures with their response so that postoperative pictures or additional views can be sent to the mentor.  In the past, this could only be accomplished by sending the postoperative results and pictures as a new case.  This change in the system will be a great timesaver for the partners because they will not need to re-enter the patient information and history as a new case.  It will also be very helpful to both partners and mentors to review a case with all of the data and pictures present in one place without having to refer back to an old case for comparison and additional information.

It is very easy to reopen a case and to attach additional pictures as shown in the steps below.  If a case is still open and you wish to send additional pictures with your response, begin at Step 2.
