A Cyber-Sight Partner Success Story
From Cyber-Sight partner to FedEx fellow to presenter at the national ophthalmologist meeting of his country; that is the story of Cyber-Sight partner, Dr. Phara Khauv of Cambodia.
Dr. Phara Khauv was first introduced to ORBIS telemedicine Cyber-Sight during a brief training visit to Hanoi where he met Dr. Ngoc, who was already actively participating as an E-Consultation partner, with Dr. Dan Neely as his mentor. Upon returning to his native land of Cambodia, Dr. Khauv became a Cyber-Sight E-Consultation partner, also with Dr. Neely as his mentor. When Dr. Neely later visited Cambodia, the Cyber-Sight partner/mentor relationship became a personal one. Building on this connection, Dr. Khauv was awarded a FedEx pediatric ophthalmology fellowship which was carried out at Indiana University Medical Center section of Pediatric Ophthalmology, under the guidance of Dr. Neely and the team of pediatric ophthalmologists in the department.

Dr. Khauv has continued his active participation in E-Consultation as the first fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist in Cambodia. Dr. Khauv is an ophthalmologist who exercises his zeal as well as his skill, while providing the best patient care. Based on his expertise and accomplishments, Dr. Khauv was invited to deliver a lecture describing his telemedicine experiences at the Cambodian Ophthalmological Society meeting.
This inspiring success story for Dr. Khauv is also one for Cyber-Sight E-Consultation and the dedication of mentor, Dan Neely. Moreover, this story demonstrates how the training and inspiration can be passed along from an already active partner who recruits a new one, who will then carry on to learn, give back, and share it with others.
