Clody's One-Eye Golf Scramble

Clody 3

November 18, 2004:  The proceeds from the 12th annual Clody's One-Eye Golf Scramble are donated for the Education and Research Foundation for Children's Eyes in support of  blindness prevention in children in Indiana and the world.  The delegation includes  seated left to right:  Cathy Clodfelter, Clody, Kathy Sparks; standing left to right:  Tony Sparks, Eugene Helveston (holding the check), David Plager, and Brad Alspaugh.   This generous donation of $9,500 will be used to help reduce the incidence and severity of blinding disease in children.  This effort was recognized by golfing legend Arnold Palmer who sent along his best wishes as shown in the picture held by Clody.  The event was held at Old Hickory Golf Course in Greencastle, Indiana.  Next year's event is scheduled for September 17, 2005.
