| External and disc/macula photo of the left eye in a 20-year-old woman with red eye and vision loss. |
| A 20-year-old woman presented with a chronic inflammation of the left eye and the complaint that she noticed poor vision in this eye when she covered her right eye. In everyday activity she had no special problems except for the continued redness of this eye. She had been prescribed drops for the redness and has used them on a regular basis, almost daily, for three years. Visual acuity was measured at 20/40 in the right eye and 20/200 in the left. Intraocular pressure was 30 mmHg in each eye and mild posterior subcapsular opacities were seen in both lenses. |
