All of the following are true regarding cyclodialysis clefts except:

a. they represent a separation of the ciliary body from the scleral spur
b. can occur after trauma or surgery
c. can close spontaneously and cause a subsequent spike in IOP
  d. can be treated with pilocarpine
e. may require laser or even surgical repair if medical management fails
