A 6-year-old boy presents with decreased vision in both eyes and on slit lamp examination you find bilateral anterior lenticonus as shown above. 

1.  The most common syndrome associated with this disorder is:  
 

a. Duane’s syndrome
b. Alport syndrome
c. Marfan’s syndrome
d.  homocystinuria

2.  Other systemic and ocular findings associated with this syndrome include:  
 

a. strabismus and complex malformations of the central nervous system, including tumors of the brainstem
b. lens dislocations and hyperextensible joints
c. lens dislocations and mental retardation/hypercoaguability
d.  cataracts, deafness, and hereditary nephritis
