Strabismus -  Duane Syndrome, Class II Lecture 36 of 38  NEXT»

History: This 18-year-old girl is bothered by a significant left face turn and occasional diplopia. This has been present since birth. Visual acuity is OD 20/70 and OS 20/20. Refraction is OD plano +1.50 x 80 and OS +.50. This girl is able to fuse the fly and the A row of animals (400 seconds of arc disparity). Except for the decreased vision in the right eye and the obvious motility problem, the examination is otherwise unremarkable.

Diagnosis: Duane syndrome, Class II
