Strabismus -  DVD with Fixation Preference Lecture 38 of 38  NEXT»

History: This 11-year-old girl appears like this to her parents most of the time. Vision is OD 20/40 and OS 20/20. She has patched for nearly a year with no further improvement. Refraction is: OD +.25 and OS plano. DVD is seen in both eyes, but the parents never see the left eye up.

How would you treat this girl? Specifically, would you do something to both eyes or would you only treat the manifest hyper?

Diagnosis:  DVD with fixation preference
